The EMC standard of EN 61000-3-3:1995 and its amendments under 1999/5/EC R&TTE directive, specify the limitation of voltage changes, voltage fluctuations and flicker in public low-voltage supply systems, for equipment with rated current ≤ 16 A per phase and not subject to conditional connection, will be withdrawn on 01 September, 2011. After this date, the superseded standard of EN 61000-3-3:2008 must be complied in order to presume of conformity.
